Roughly translated, means like your soul got sucked away and disappeared, or something like that. Feeling this way today. I know I have a Zillion things to do. But I like have no idea wat to do. Or wat to start with. Feel lost.
I also think I caught a cold. Kept sneezing today. Or maybe caz I so distracted I offend people without knowing and I kept getting scolded. Sigh... I wanna go home and slp.

Tired
So much work, so little time. Not looking forward to work at all. How can I when I always seem to have it rushing towards me, threatening to bulldoze across?

有心栽花花不开,无心插柳柳成荫
The above is a chinese saying which translates into, putting in a lot of effort to grow flowers but it did not bloom, randomly stick a willow branch in the ground and it grows into a tree. I spend effort trying to recruit girls, and I only got one new girl. I allow the boys to join for the first time, and over 20 flocked to me. Should I cry or laugh? Maybe I should close my girls team.

Friday
Its Friday the 13th, but all I can say is TGIF. Its been a crazy two weeks, and I think its gonna get worse. By the end of this year, I'll either be madder than the hatter or tougher a survivor than one of the reality shows contestant. Yeah... I'm exaggerating. But that wat it feels like right now so NOBODY gets to contradict me.
One thing this job does is its killing my desire to become a parent. I still like kids, but I find parents more irritating everyday. I think nobody should be forced to deal with anymore than their own parents and their in-laws. Having to deal with hundreds of them is truly sucky. I feel like I'm being given the "Mum/Dad knows best" treatment all the time. I am not your child, and I do not want or need your attention, especially when your child is craving for more of it. Parents are fast approaching an "enemy line", and when they cross that line, I might just open fire. The thought of becoming one of the them gets less appealing with time.
I think its real nuts that I do my best for your kid, and you are hovering there trying to catch me make a mistake so you can say "AHA!". Can you like spend your time on something productive? Like helping your kid with homework for example? And helping does NOT mean to do the homework yourself, or getting the tutor to do it! The kid has to learn to do it him/herself! You cant spoonfeed the child forever, caz he/she wont be a kid forever!
If every time your child improve its thanks to you, the tutor or your child's natural talent, your child does not need to be in school. If you know my job better than I do, then take your kids out and HOME SCHOOL them. It will save both of us a lot of misery and your child can stick to you the entire day, just like he/she desires. Most behaviour problems stem from a lack of attention from parents in the first place, so doing that will negate those problems, and we wont have to be at odds because I say your child is NOT the angelic genius you think he/she is.
By the way, do you realise that no matter how many kids you have, I am always in charge of more? So can you please stop expecting me to pay special attention to your child when you cant do it yourself? Yes, I can take note of your concerns but there are OTHER children around. Even though you are paying me because my pay is from tax payer's money, THE OTHER PARENTS PAY TAX TOO! I cant give your child that much SPECIAL attention because that would be UNFAIR and other parents will come after me. You dun want me to be unfair to your kid, so why do you try to FORCE me to be unfair to others' kids? Go bug the tutor whom you pay so much for all that SPECIAL attention that you want others to give in place of yourself. Even though the best thing you can do is to give the special attention YOURSELF. Its YOUR attention that your child NEEDS!
I swear that when I cant take anymore of this, I will go be a one-on-one tutor, at least for a short period of time. Its essentially the same job, but you only have to deal with one child at a time, and they are much more appreciated.
TGIF. I am free from them till Monday. TGIF. I am going to spend the weekend with ppl who appreciate me.

Depressed
I used to have the habit of journal writing, before I switched to blogging. My journal entries are quite similiar to my blogs in one aspect. You can tell my mood by its frequency. I tend to write more often when I am sad.
I didn't notice this trend. Till one fine day, I picked up an old journal and read it out of a curiosity to review my younger self. The reviewing started out happily enough. And then it got depressing. And it got progressively worse. I just tend to blab in circles when I'm upset. And the happy moments are recorded less and less frequently. And I used to think that I had an optimistic personality. That reviewing put things into perspective.
So its 1 a.m. and I have to started preparing for work in 4 and a half hrs, and I got plenty of stuff to do... and yet I find myself blogging. Then I know the pattern is starting again.
Oh well, on the bright side, writing it down also tends to make me feel better. So I think I will be able to sleep now. Wouldn't it be fantastic if I went to bed now and got strike by a case of insomia? Wow... if it happens, I wonder if I will even turn up at work.
If any of you meet the sandman, try and steal his bag of sand for me, kay? Even a pinch of sand would be good. The ability to fall asleep whenever I want to sounds god-gifted. Hmm... maybe the sandman is a demi-god of some kind and that's why I never had a chance of gaining that ability.

Back to work
It's just day one and I'm exhausted. I've been lazy during hols so my legs are complaining they stand and walked too much today. Though today was relax, compared to last year's busy period (when I actually had to RUN around to get things done). I'm sulky and work is piling up already and I got new challenges ahead some more. sheesh... why are they so confident in my ability that they keep piling obstacles in front of me? I'm just trying not to trip here really.
